Kings County Soccer Partners with Atlantic SC

Posted by NorahD on April 16, 2013 at 7:25 AM

Kings County Soccer (KCSA) is thrilled to announce a new vision for 2013!

We have always operated with the goal of providing kids and adults a fun environment to play soccer but this year we are stepping it up a notch.  We are partnering with Atlantic SC, the only soccer club outside of Ontario to become part of Toronto FC’s Club Academy Program - a technical partnership with progressive youth clubs that meet Toronto FCs standards for elite player development.  Toronto FC is one of only 3 Canadian professional soccer teams in Major League Soccer that spans unto the United States playing field.

Introducing Mark Elton, Staff Coach with Atlantic SC, and newly appointed Technical Director for KCSA! Mark, along with Atlantic SC Technical Director Rinie Pijnenburg, will provide the structure and guidance for a fun, structured and competitive soccer environment.  Players will be coached to their potential with the goal of preparing them for future opportunities.

What does this mean to the kids?

All of our members will benefit from this whether you want to simply enjoy a summer of soccer and learn a few things or if there is more ambition and potential to progress to more competitive soccer leagues with Atlantic SC.

·         Year Round Access to Soccer – the new program and Winter Academy, allows all soccer players to develop skills and play the game of soccer throughout the year

·         New focus on Coach Education - partnering with Atlantic SC gives us access to qualified (Class B) and experienced coaching staff that will provide education, resources and assistance to KCSA coaches at all levels.

·         More for Less! –Coaching program and summer skill building evenings have all been added with NO increase to player registration

·         NEW Look! –New Competitive Jerseys, New Logo, New Slogan, New Website.  We have revamped our entire look, the change will give us a professional image and put us one step up from our previous stance in the soccer community.

This is a great opportunity to build the sport of soccer in our area and give all kids the opportunity to continue developing to their full potential.  We hope you share in our excitement and join our club!  Registrations take place on April 24th at the 8th Hussars Sports Center.  -Come out to meet out new director and get a chance to win your registration fee!!   For more information check out our website www.kingscountysoccer.com or email admin@kingscountysoccer.com or search us on Facebook!!
